Skip Hire Permits and Wait & Load
A majority of the skips that we deliver are carried out onto private land or driveways, however there are situations where this is not always possible or required.
When requiring a skip in Godalming but there is no access to either a driveway or private land we can offer 2 solutions:
Wait & Load
With a wait and load service, we simply place the skip on the public highway where you have 30 minutes to fill the skip. Once complete, our driver will leave site carrying the skip away for waste processing.
This saves the cost of the road permit and can be ideal if you have large bulky items or if your waste is bagged up and ready to be put into the skip.
Road Permit
We can deliver a skip onto the public road in where a road permit would be required or we can provide a ‘wait and load’ service.
Placing the skip on the road with a permit does comes at an extra cost but this permit can allow you to have the skip on the road for upto 2 weeks. We will arrange the permit on your behalf with your local council.
